San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula stated today that a number of players will be returning from injury today and will practice with the team. Those players include RB Carlos Hyde, WR Anquan Boldin, and CB Tramaine Brock. The three will practice to determine where they each are with their respective injuries.

Hyde is recovering from a fractured left foot, Boldin from a hamstring injury, and Brock from a shin injury.

Tomsula also said that WR DeAndre Smelter looked good in an extended workout on Monday when the team did a competitive session for players that had been there 3 years or less.

As for the seldom used DL Tank Carradine, Tomsula is looking to get him playing on the edge more as opposed to the inside pass rusher spot that he has been used at. While listed at 295 lbs, he is now more in the 280 lbs range.

"We've practiced with a lot of really, really loud music from the sidelines, since the spring," Tomsula said about the team's upcoming visit to Seattle.

LB NaVorro Bowman will have his customary Wednesday day off.
