San Francisco 49ers TE Garrett Celek (ankle) has been ruled out of Sunday's game in Chicago against the Bears. Celek was injured on Sunday in the 49ers' loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Head coach Jim Tomsula said that the injury was a high ankle sprain and Celek had an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.

RB Carlos Hyde (foot) will miss his fifth straight game. He last played on October 22 in a home game against the Seattle Seahawks. Hyde is attempting to recover from a stress fracture in his foot, an injury that may force the team to end his season.

Neither Celek nor Hyde will travel with the team to Chicago. However, C Daniel Kilgore will. A decision to activate him to the 53-man roster from the PUP list may come on Saturday. He last played in October of 2014, when he broke his ankle in a game against the Denver Broncos. If the 49ers decide to activate him, they will need to make room on the roster, which could bring a decision on Hyde into play.
