Bowman's selection is impressive because of the devastating injury that he sustained just 23 months ago when he suffered a torn ACL and MCL. Even though he insists he is not yet at 100-percent, he has done enough to return to the Pro Bowl.
Bowman has 136 tackles and two sacks this season. He is tied with Indianapolis Colts LB D'Qwell Jackson for leading tackler in the NFL. During Sunday's 24-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Bowman had an impressive 12 tackles, earning his highest career grade from Pro Football Focus.
Staley has been part of one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL, but got noticed enough to get the selection. This will be Staley's fifth straight selection to the Pro Bowl.
LG Alex Boone is an alternate selection. He suffered a sprained MCL two weeks ago against the Cleveland Browns and is unlikely to play again this season.
