Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area is reporting that much of the San Francisco 49ers staff from last year has packed up and moved out. On Thursday, the 49ers hired former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly to be their new head coach. It was expected that he would bring in his own choices for his staff and that much of Jim Tomsula's assistants would not be retained.

Kelly met with defensive coordinator Eric Mangini, but there is no word yet on how that meeting went.

Maiocco says that Kelly is expected to meet with running backs coach Tom Rathman next week. Rathman has had two stints as the 49ers' running backs coach. One was from 1997 through 2002 and then since 2009.

Earlier today, Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reported that linebackers coach Jason Tarver may also stick around.

The following photo was posted on the team's official Twitter account today, which may be the first of Kelly at the 49ers facility.
