Offensive lineman Anthony Davis has never been one to shy away from voicing his opinions on Twitter. He has even gone as far as to criticize San Francisco 49ers teammates – or former teammates depending on your perspective – while watching them on television.

He even recently stated that he did not want Jim Harbaugh as a coach anymore and was likely not sorry to see him gone.

Today, he responded to those who felt that maybe he took a season off to bypass a Jim Tomsula led season.

Davis, who has had symptoms from concussions, has always stated that his reasons for taking a season off were health related.

If nothing else, Davis is honest with his fans and followers. He has also guaranteed that he would be returning to the 49ers, who hold his rights, this season. No word yet on how he feels about new head coach Chip Kelly. If he does have an opinion about him, we'll likely hear about it soon enough on Twitter.
