The NFL and NFLPA have finalized a 2016 salary cap of a $155.27 million per team, according to Tom Pelissero of USA TODAY.

That's a rise of nearly $12 million from last year's $143.28 million cap number. According to Jason Fitzgerald of Over the Cap, that number should mean that every NFL team is already under the cap.

Over the Cap also reports that the new number gives the San Francisco 49ers nearly $55.6 million in cap space for 2016. Although, that number is not official until the NFLPA posts an updated salary cap report. Spotrac.com reports the 49ers' cap space at $55.2 million. Both sites list San Francisco with the sixth highest amount of cap room in the NFL.
