Per CSN Bay Area,Clemson DE Kevin Dodd was among those that worked out for the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, which was part of a weekend when the team hosted numerous draft prospects.

Late last month, Dodd was among the players that 49ers general manager Trent Baalke privately worked out himself. He worked out for Baalke the same week as former Tiger teammate DE Shaq Lawson.

Lance Zierlein of NFL Media, who compared Dodd to Michael Bennett, had the following to say within his draft profile:

The arrow is pointed up for Dodd who finished the season with a streak of five consecutive games with a sack. Dodd already looks the part of an NFL defensive end and his desire to make plays coupled with his physical traits and talent should have him shooting up draft boards. His lack of college snaps could preclude him from being "pro ready", but his instincts and football intelligence should expedite the learning process.

In 2015, Dodd had 82 tackles and 12.5 sacks in 15 games for the Clemson Tigers.
