The San Francisco 49ers have traded CB Kenneth Acker, who has seen his preseason playing time limited by the emergence of other young corners, to the Kansas City Chiefs for a seventh-round draft pick in 2018, per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. News of the compensation comes from Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Acker started 13 games for the 49ers last season, but has plummeted within the depth chart this offseason. While he played in Friday night's loss to the Green Bay Packers, he only appeared on special teams. Acker was drafted by the 49ers out of Southern Methodist in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
