San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde has been cleared from the concussion protocol and will play on Monday when the team opens their season at home against the Los Angeles Rams. He was not listed on the team's injury report that was released today.

Hyde fully participated in the team's practice today. He suffered a concussion during the first quarter of the team's third preseason game – a matchup against the Green Bay Packers at Levi's Stadium on August 26. He was seen leaving the field with team doctors during the second half of the loss.

Last season, his first as a starter, Hyde rushed for 470 yards on 115 carries through seven games. He also had three touchdowns. His season ended because of an foot injury that placed him on the injured reserve list. During the 49ers' season opener against the Minnesota Vikings, Hyde ran for 168 yards and two touchdowns.
