The two players that made the list were LB Michael Wilhoite and S Eric Reid. Here is what Pro Football Focus had to say about both defenders. Both explanations are brutally honest.
LB Michael Wilhoite
"There may not have been a defender more constantly out of position on Sunday than Wilhoite was in San Francisco's loss to the Bills," said Sam Monson of the site. "His reads and run fits were disastrous, and he is a big part of the reason Bills RB LeSean McCoy was able to go off for 140 rushing yards on just 19 carries (7.4 per carry). QB Tyrod Taylor added 70 rushing yards himself and the Bills as a team rushed for 314. Naturally, those weren't all on Wilhoite, but there was no bigger culprit, and a pair of missed tackles didn't help his cause."

S Eric Reid
"Reid was another member of the 49ers defense that proved entirely incapable of defending the Bills this week," Monson explained. "He missed two tackles while being responsible for 50 yards and a touchdown on the plays in which he was primary coverage. Another player to surrender a perfect passer rating, he is one of several 49ers who will want to forget this game sooner rather than later."
Wilhoite came in as the fifth worst player from Sunday while Reid was ranked ninth.
