On Wednesday, the San Francisco 49ers will be holding the first of two joint practices with the Denver Broncos. The two teams will face each other in an exhibition matchup on Saturday at Levi's Stadium.

As for practice, LB Aaron Lynch remains out with a right ankle injury while DL DeForest Buckner remains out after suffering a low-ankle sprain against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the 49ers are getting back CB Dontae Johnson, who was in the concussion protocol after suffering the injury last week during practice. He had been limited but will now participate in team drills. Also returning is LB Brock Coyle, who was dealing with a rib injury.

Below is the 49ers' Wednesday player participation report leading into practice at 10:15 a.m.
