The San Francisco 49ers remain winless after losing their eighth-straight game – this time to the Philadelphia Eagles. The 49ers' 0-8 start to the season is the worst in franchise history. The Eagles, who improved to 7-1, won decisively over the 49ers by a score of 33-10 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Below is a mix of some key player stats provided by the 49ers Communications staff and Pro Football Focus.

Key Player Statistics

Tackles Joe Staley and Garry Gilliam started the game against the Eagles. Neither finished it. Gilliam started for right tackle Trent Brown, who suffered a concussion the previous weekend against the Dallas Cowboys. Gilliam exited with a knee injury while Staley left with a fracture to his orbital bone.

Guard Zane Beadles, who finished the game at left tackle in place of the injured Staley, allowed two sacks and three quarterback hurries. Guard Eric Magnuson, who replaced Gilliam at right tackle, allowed four quarterback hurries.

With a patchwork offensive line in place, quarterback C.J. Beathard was pressured on 60-percent of his dropbacks. That was the highest rate for any defense in a game this season.

Beathard completed three of his 12 attempts outside the numbers and past the line of scrimmage. He threw for 38 yards, an interception, and had a 5.6 passer rating during the throws.

Only five of Beathard's 17 completions went to wide receivers and he had a passer rating of 53.4 while under pressure.

Running back Carlos Hyde carried the football 12 times for just 25 yards. 21 of those yards came after contact.

Running back Matt Breida caught four passes for a team-high 39 yards and a touchdown. His first career NFL score came on a Beathard shovel pass for 12 yards.

Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon was Pro Football Focus' highest-graded player for the 49ers on Sunday and the second-highest graded player of the game. He allowed just three catches on eight targets for 66 yards and a touchdown. Witherspoon also had a pass defensed and his first career interception. The interception, which was returned for 19 yards, led to the Breida touchdown.

Newly re-signed cornerback Leon Hall was targeted just once in 18 coverage snaps. That target resulted in an incompletion.

Cornerback Rashard Robinson played just 16 snaps on defense and was not targeted during the game.

Defensive end Leger Douzable had two sacks (career high) and three run stops against the Eagles. He now has 8.5 career sacks.

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz completed none of his five passes and was sacked three times while under pressure by the 49ers defense.

Defensive tackle Earl Mitchell sacked Wentz for a loss of six yards. It was his first sack of the season and first since November of 2014. Mitchell now has 6.5 career sacks.
