EA Sports released its launch-date ratings for players in Madden NFL 19. The multi-platform football game is scheduled for release on August 10.
A number of San Francisco 49ers players saw their in-game ratings increase from the earlier build of the game in June, including the team's top-two rated players, cornerback Richard Sherman and tackle Joe Staley. Both received a rating of 88 in the earlier pre-production version of the game and appear to be set with a rating of 90 in the launch version. Staley saw a significant jump from his rating last year, going from 82 to 90.
Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo received a slight bump as well. He had a 77 rating in last year's version of the game, 80 within the June build, and is now listed with a rating of 83 for August's launch.
