The San Francisco 49ers waived three players on Saturday with the waived/injured designation. All three cleared waivers and will revert to the 49ers' injured reserve list. They are wide receiver Aaron Burbridge, offensive lineman JP Flynn, and fullback Malcolm Johnson.

The 49ers were not assigned any players off of waivers on Sunday. The team was ninth in the waiver wire priority order. San Francisco also did not have any of its own former players claimed off waivers, according to NBC Sports Bay Area.

The 49ers also waived/injured wide receiver Max McCaffrey (foot) last week. He too went unclaimed and reverted to the team's injured reserve list.

Running back Jerick McKinnon will also land on injured reserve after suffering a torn ACL during practice on Saturday.
