The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 5 contest against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

When the 49ers took the field for Wednesday's practice, guards Mike Person and Laken Tomlinson were the only starting offensive linemen taking part. Center Weston Richburg and tackles Joe Staley and Mike McGlinchey are each dealing with a knee injury. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Monday that each would likely be questionable this week, but the team's official game status and injury report won't be released until Friday.

Other injury notes from Wednesday:

  • RB Matt Breida was in a blue no-contact jersey, per Bay Area News Group.
  • WR Marquise Goodwin was paired with CB Richard Sherman in rehab drills.
  • S Jaquiski Tartt returned to practice.
  • S Adrian Colbert was a full participant in practice. He was active against the Los Angeles Chargers but was limited to playing on special teams.
