The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 5 contest against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Injury notes from Thursday:
CB Richard Sherman returned to practice after missing this past Sunday's game against the Chargers. He hopes to play against the Cardinals. "I've been off for a while," Sherman told reporters on Thursday. "Fresh legs program."
WR Marquise Goodwin and C Weston Richburg returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday's session.
T Mike McGlinchey had an MRI on Monday and everything in his knee looked fine, according to NBC Sports Bay Area. He expects to play on Sunday.
T Joe Staley was seen working with trainers on a side field during practice.
