The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 5 contest against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Injury notes from Friday:

  • T Joe Staley was able to practice after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday.
  • CB Richard Sherman practiced for the second-straight day.
  • T Mike McGlinchey and C Weston Richburg have been practicing since Thursday.
  • DB Jimmie Ward was a new addition to the injury list. He tweaked his hamstring on Thursday, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. "He's had a history with it," Shanahan said. "He didn't practice today. We'll see how it feels on Sunday."
  • WR Marquise Goodwin will be a game-time decision, said Shanahan. He puts the chances of him playing at about 50/50.

Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Cardinals. Also included are Friday's practice participation reports, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
