The San Francisco 49ers lost 27-9 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Sunday and dropped to 2-9 on the season.

Below is a mix of key player and team stats provided by the NFL, the 49ers, and Pro Football Focus.

Key Player Statistics

Quarterback Nick Mullens was 18-of-32 for 221 yards with a touchdown, two interceptions, and a passer rating of 62.1 against the Buccaneers.

Mullens earned the lowest Pro Football Focus grade (38.9) on offense. He was 4-of-11 for 81 yards, two interceptions, and a passer rating of 23.5 on throws of 10-or-more yards.

Mullens' passer rating has steadily dropped since his first NFL start against the Oakland Raiders on November 1. He posted a 151.9 rating in Week 9 against Oakland, a 73.7 rating in Week 10 against the New York Giants, and a 62.1 rating in Week 12 against the Buccaneers.

Mullens' completion percentage has also seen a significant drop from game to game (72.7 percent vs. OAK, 69.2 percent vs. NYG, 56.3 percent vs. TB).

Mullens has thrown two interceptions in each of his last two starts after throwing none against the Raiders.

Running back Matt Breida carried the football 14 times for 106 yards. He has now reached 100-or-more rushing yards in consecutive games (101 rushing yards vs. NYG on November 12) for the first time in his career and has now reached 100 rushing yards three times in his career.

Breida became the first member of the 49ers to register 100-or-more rushing yards in consecutive games since running back Frank Gore in 2014.

Tackle Joe Staley earned a Pro Football Focus run-block grade of 91.9 against the Buccaneers. It was the highest of any tackle in Week 12.

Wide receiver Dante Pettis hauled in four receptions for a career-high 77 yards and a touchdown. The 13-yard score was the second of his NFL career.

Defensive lineman DeForest Buckner set a single-season high with seven sacks on the season after bringing down Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston for a loss of eight yards. He now has 16 over his NFL career.

Buckner's seven sacks on the season are the most by a member of the 49ers in a single season since linebackers Ahmad Brooks and Aldon Smith did so in 2013 (each had 8.5).

Both linebacker Fred Warner and defensive end Arik Armstead had strong games, posting Pro Football Focus grades of 87.2 and 82.2 respectively. Armstead had six pressures in 20 pass rush attempts.

Key Team Statistics

The 49ers offense finished the game with 24 rushes for 148 yards. San Francisco has now registered 100-or-more rushing yards in a game nine times this season, the most in the NFL.

The 49ers defense has two interceptions this season, which now ranks last in the NFL. The Buccaneers were ranked last until Sunday's two-interception performance gave them three on the season. The NFL record for the fewest interceptions in a season is currently held by the 1982 Houston Oilers, who had three.

Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston was 10-of-15 for 172 yards with a touchdown and a passer rating of 145.0 while under pressure by the 49ers defense.
