Staley is finishing his 12th NFL season. The 49ers made him the No. 28 overall draft pick out of Central Michigan in 2007. Staley, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, has spent his entire career in San Francisco and missed just four games over the past eight seasons.
Staley's contract runs through the 2019 season.
