The San Francisco 49ers were among the teams to meet with running back Marquis Young at UMass' pro day, according to Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst.
"Running back Marquis Young, who participated in the Shrine Game, completed 20 reps on the bench, touched 36.5 inches in the vertical jump and 10-feet-4 in the broad," writes Pauline. "His 40 times ranged from 4.49 seconds to 4.55 seconds."
The 6-foot-1 running back rushed for 778-or-more yards in each of his four collegiate seasons. He combined for 1,760 rushing yards on 336 carries (5.2-yard average) with 18 rushing touchdowns over the past two seasons while adding two more receiving touchdowns in 2017.
Pauline reports that the New England Patriots, Houston Texans, and Kansas City Chiefs also met with Young.
