Former Kentucky edge rusher Josh Allen is among the nine known prospects who will visit with the San Francisco 49ers before the upcoming draft. He will visit the team's Santa Clara facility this week, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Allen is also scheduled to meet with the Detroit Lions this week.
Update: Allen arrives in the Santa Clara area tonight. He will likely have dinner with the 49ers on Tuesday night and tour the facility on Wednesday, per Pelissero.
Kentucky edge Josh Allen arrives tonight for his #49ers visit. If he gets the same treatment as Alabama DL Quinnen Williams, it'll start with a nice steak dinner tonight — no IHOP this time. @nflnetwork pic.twitter.com/tOxZgxBh2p

Pelissero also reports that former Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams dined with team decision-makers on Monday night and will presumably tour the facilities on Tuesday.
Potential top-5 picks on the move this week, per sources:

* LSU LB Devin White visited #Bucs yesterday, #Giants today, #Bengals next
* Alabama DL Quinnen Williams dined with #49ers last night, #Raiders up next

Former Mississippi State defensive end Montez Sweat is also scheduled to visit with the 49ers this week while former Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa will travel to Santa Clara next week.
NFL teams are permitted to host up to 30 players for official pre-draft visits at their facilities. Unlike local prospects, those players are not allowed to work out for the team during the visit.
After attending Alabama's and Ohio State's pro days to meet with draft prospects Williams and Bosa, 49ers general manager John Lynch and VP of player personnel Adam Peters did not attend Kentucky's pro day where Allen did not work out but did meet with NFL teams.
Allen finished his senior campaign with Kentucky having registered 88 combined tackles with 21.5 for a loss and a Kentucky single-season school record 17 sacks, including a three-sack performance in the Wildcats' 27-24 victory over Penn State in the Citrus Bowl. He recorded 31.5 sacks in his four collegiate seasons.
Williams might be an option for the 49ers with the No. 2 overall pick. The team is reportedly enamored with the talented interior defender, who recorded 71 combined tackles, 19.5 for a loss, and eight sacks for the Crimson Tide in 2018.
