The San Francisco 49ers are among several teams to work out former Wake Forest safety Cameron Glenn, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Wake Forest safety Cameron Glenn private workouts with Falcons, Chargers, 49ers, Titans and Bills, per a league source #NFLDraftNews
Glenn (6-1, 200) recorded 98 combined tackles during each of his past two seasons with Wake Forest. He registered 6.5 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, four passes defensed, and two forced fumbles as a senior in 2018.
Glenn was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in February and instead used his pro day to prove himself to NFL scouts. Our friends over at Draft Analyst list his 40-time at 4.58 seconds.
"I wanted them to wake up," Glenn said via the Winston-Salem Journal. "I feel like I'm one of those guys that's always been slept on my whole career. Just wanted to come out here and open up some eyes, and I think that's what I did."
