San Francisco 49ers rookie pass rusher Nick Bosa spoke to the media on Friday afternoon. While much of the discussion surrounded his poor social media decisions in the past, the topic of his brother, Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, came up. Specifically, the younger Bosa was asked to compare himself to his older brother.
"I think we play pretty similar," Bosa responded. "I think we both use speed and power. We're not one-dimensional players. We have a lot of similarities in our game, but I'm just excited to start my own journey and show off some of my attributes."
Bosa spent much of his time before the draft staying with his older brother in Southern California. He learned about consistently maintaining his body and eating right, which is key to a successful offseason.
"He's got a chef out there," Bosa said. "She's amazing."
Bosa is happy to be playing in the same state as his older brother. It means he will be able to visit Joey whenever the 49ers have some time off.
"It's definitely better than me being across the country and not being able to see him for months on end," Bosa added.
