Some offensive line help could be on the way. Guards Mike Person (foot) and Joshua Garnett (finger) returned to practice on Wednesday, which head coach Kyle Shanahan said would be a lighter session than on Thursday.
Person is coming off of a foot injury suffered last Friday during a joint practice with the Denver Broncos. He will take part in both individual and team drills, according to Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Garnett has missed several weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated finger.
Others practicing:
DB Antone Exum (knee), DE Ronald Blair (groin), DT D.J. Jones (knee), DE Damontre Moore (thumb), DB D.J. Reed (shoulder), TE Levine Toilolo (shoulder), DB Jimmie Ward (collarbone)
Tight end George Kittle (calf) continues to miss practice, though. Rookie wide receiver Jalen Hurd (back) was suited up but did not appear to be practicing, according to Barrows.
Others not practicing:
DE Nick Bosa (ankle), S Adrian Colbert (hamstring), DL Dee Ford (knee tendinitis), LB Elijah Lee (thumb), RB Jerick McKinnon (knee), S Jaquiski Tartt (personal day), DT Jullian Taylor (back), WR Trent Taylor (foot), CB Jason Verrett (ankle)
#49ers TE George Kittle (calf) remains sidelined; G Joshua Garnett back at practice for first time since having finger surgery early in training camp.
