As expected, fans will see a healthy dose of Nick Bosa when the San Francisco 49ers take the field today against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rookie defensive end will finally make his NFL debut, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
#49ers first-round pick DE Nick Bosa, who suffered an ankle sprain early in the preseason, is currently slated to play vs. #Bucs, source said. It's what SF had hoped.
Bosa is returning from an ankle injury that forced the pass rusher to miss most of training camp and the entire preseason.
Also expected to play are Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans and linebacker Devin White, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Both were dealing with the flu leading up to the game.
Bucs' WR Mike Evans and LB Devin White, both listed as questionable for today with an illness, will play against the 49ers, per sources.
