The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 2 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team stayed and practiced in Youngstown, which is about four or five hours away from Cincinnati, this week and held its final full practice on Friday.

The most significant injury news was DE Nick Bosa's return to the practice field after missing the remainder of the week. The rookie played on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a lengthy recovery from an ankle sprain suffered early in training camp. He re-aggravated the injury on the first play of the game but continued, which left him sore this week.

Bosa is listed as questionable and the coaching staff will speak with him on Sunday morning and see how he feels before making a decision on whether or not he will play, said head coach Kyle Shanahan on Friday.

DB Jimmie Ward, who practiced this week with a cast over his broken finger, will also be a game-time decision. CB Jason Verrett has practiced all week and is on pace to make his 49ers debut on Sunday. He, like Bosa, has been recovering from an ankle sprain.

For the Bengals, RB Joe Mixon is listed as questionable for Sunday after missing the first two practices this week and being limited on Friday. He injured his ankle during Cincinnati's Week 1 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. WR A.J. Green and LT Cordy Glenn will miss their second straight games.

Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Bengals, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are this week's practice participation reports.
