The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 5 contest against the Cleveland Browns on Monday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Defensive end Dee Ford returned to practice on Saturday after missing time on Thursday and Friday. That's good news for the pass rusher's chances of playing on Monday night.

Ford is dealing with knee tendinitis, which could cause him discomfort throughout the season, and a quadriceps issue. The team is likely to limit his practices this season to make sure he can go on game days.

Running back Tevin Coleman practiced for the third straight day as he attempts to return from a high-ankle sprain suffered during Week 1. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said he is optimistic Coleman will be good to go on Monday.

Both Ford and Coleman are listed as questionable for Monday's game.

Defensive back Jimmie Ward, who is being considered to start at free safety on Monday night, also practiced on Saturday. He suffered a broken finger during practice on September 4.

The Browns listed their starting cornerbacks, Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams, as questionable for Monday. Neither practiced this week as they are dealing with hamstring injuries and neither plated last week against the Baltimore Ravens.

Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Browns, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are this week's practice participation reports.
