The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 6 contest against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California.
The 49ers will be without tackles Joe Staley and Mike McGlinchey, fullback Kyle Juszczyk, and cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon for some time. The good news is that none of their injuries were season-ending and each will return down the stretch.
Other than those players, there weren't any surprise injury notes from Thursday's practice participation report.
Defensive end Dee Ford practiced again, but was limited. He appears to be on pace to play on Sunday despite dealing with his ongoing knee and quadricep issues.
On the Rams side, both running back Todd Gurley and cornerback Aqib Talib didn't practice for the second-straight day. Those are some key injuries to keep an eye on through Sunday.
Winds forced the Rams to move practice indoors and limit the intensity of the Thursday session.
The #Rams turned practice into an indoor walk-through and "above-the-neck day" because of high winds around Thousand Oaks. This, combined with the short week before the Thursday game in Seattle, means they'll have only one real practice in two weeks before facing the 49ers.

Lack of a practice session today means no update on injuries to Todd Gurley, Aqib Talib and others, #Rams coach Sean McVay said. And means no full-speed work for Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson, Gurley's backups at running back.
