Cleveland Browns defensive end Olivier Vernon has been fined $10,527 for smacking San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo last Monday night.

The incident occurred during the first half of the 49ers' 31-3 win over the Browns. San Francisco ran a double reverse, which is shown below. Keep an eye on Garoppolo. If you blink, you may miss it. Vernon clearly takes a swing and hits Garoppolo in the head, a decision that did not draw a flag but hit the defender in his bank account five days later.

Browns defensive tackle Devaroe Lawrence was also fined $10,527 for a facemask penalty.
