Joe Staley's daughter, Grace, had to see her dad come home from the San Francisco 49ers' two-game road trip to open the season with a fractured fibula. A few weeks later, one of her father's closest friends, Mike McGlinchey, underwent knee surgery.
You remember Grace. She's the one who made a sign for her dad that trolled 49ers opponents.
"She's getting to the age where she's starting to really take interest in what our schedule is, and who we're playing, and all that stuff," Staley told Melissa Jacobs of The Football Girl in August. "It just was on her mind."
Anyway, back to McGlinchey, Grace made a get-well card for her dad's good friend. Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee snapped a photo.

McGlinchey underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on October 10 and could return sometime in November.

Update: McGlinchey wasn't the only injured player to get a Grace original. Injured fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who is out with an MCL sprain, also got a card.
