The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 8 contest against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Starting left tackle Joe Staley returned to practice for the first time since suffering a fractured fibula in Week 2. He was limited to individual drills, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said there is an "outside chance" the offensive lineman could be in the lineup on Sunday against the Panthers.
