The San Francisco 49ers will host the Carolina Panthers at Levi's Stadium on Sunday, which is also Alumni Weekend for the team. Over 70 alumni from throughout team history will be honored at halftime, and the 49ers will once again wear their all-white throwback uniforms, resembling those worn during the 1994 Super Bowl season.

George Kittle bobbleheads will be handed out to the first 30,000 fans, and you'll be able to pick up a Kittle National Tight End Day shirt from the team store, with a portion of the proceeds go to Iowa Children's Hospital. In other words, there will be a lot going on.

Add Ben Garland to the list of weekend festivities. The 49ers offensive lineman will be presented with the 2019 Perry/Yonamine Unity Award before the start of Sunday's game.

The award, which was voted on by Garland's teammates and coaches, is presented to the 49ers player who is a unifier and leader in the locker room, on the field, and in the community. The 49ers Foundation will make a $10,000 donation to Garland's charity of choice, the Golden Heart Fund, which alumni Ronnie Lott and Lynn Thomas will accept on its behalf.

The Perry/Yonamine Unity Award is named after former 49ers players Joe Perry and Wally Yonamine, who each demonstrated the power of unity to make a difference on the field and in the community.

Running back Raheem Mostert was last year's award winner, and kicker Robbie Gould won it the year before.
