San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has been nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Week award following the Niners' 28-25 Week 9 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
Garoppolo finished the game with a 75.7 completion percentage, 317 passing yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions, and a passer rating of 136.9.
The other award nominees are quarterbacks Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks and Ryan Fitzpatrick of the Miami Dolphins.
Garoppolo was last nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Week award following his Week 2 performance against the Cincinnati Bengals and last won the award in 2017 following a win over the Tennessee Titans.
Garoppolo has passed for 1,806 yards, 13 touchdowns, seven interceptions, and a passer rating of 100.6 through eight games this season. He is now 16-2 as a starter, including a record of 14-2 with the 49ers.
