He recorded career highs in both rushing attempts (19) and rushing yards (146), averaging 7.7 yards per carry, and found the end zone once in the game. It was his second consecutive game averaging 7.5-or-more rushing yards per attempt.
The other nominees for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week are running backs Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans and Derrius Guice of the Washington Redskins. Henry rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown while Guice had 129 yards with two scores.
The last 49ers player to earn the honor was running back Tevin Coleman, who won the award after an impressive Week 8 performance against the Carolina Panthers.
