The San Francisco 49ers' all-important Week 17 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field has been flexed to the Sunday Night Football primetime slot on NBC with kickoff scheduled for 5:20 p.m. PT on December 29.

The game could have significant playoff implications within the NFC and will determine the NFC West winner and perhaps even home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Week 17 matchup was initially scheduled to air at 1:25 p.m. PT on FOX.

San Francisco currently owns the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff hunt after beating the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night but that could change depending on the outcome of Sunday's games. The Seahawks host the Arizona Cardinals later today and will reclaim the No. 1 seed with a win.
