Despite being limited in practice during the week, San Francisco 49ers starting strong safety Jaquiski Tartt (ribs) won't be available for the team's regular-season finale on the road against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Niners listed Tartt as doubtful before the game, and he'll join a relatively predictable list of inactives for the contest:
QB CJ Beathard
S Jaquiski Tartt
RB Jeff Wilson Jr.
CB Dontae Johnson
TE Daniel Helm
EDGE Dee Ford
WR Jordan Matthews
Marcell Harris will likely get the start in Tartt's place, which has been the case since the latter suffered his injury back in Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens. San Francisco's pass rush will also look to get by without Ford, who continues to rehabilitate following a re-aggravation of his hamstring injury suffered earlier in the year. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan previously told reporters he wasn't expecting Ford to be back until the playoffs.
Meanwhile, Beathard continues to spend time with his family away from the team following the death of his brother, Clayton.
The 49ers and Seahawks kick off on Sunday Night Football at 8:20 p.m. ET from CenturyLink Field in Seattle.
Peter Panacy has been writing about the 49ers since 2011 for outlets like Bleacher Report, Niner Noise, 49ers Webzone, and is occasionally heard as a guest on San Francisco's 95.7 FM The Game and the Niners' flagship station, KNBR 680.
