Do the San Francisco 49ers need any bulletin-board material?

Mike Florio and Chris Simms discussed Sunday's NFC Championship Game between the 49ers and the Green Bay Packers during Pro Football Talk Live this week. Florio believes the 49ers, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo specifically, could fold under pressure should the score be close late in the game.

That's fine. No one would argue that the Pro Football Talk personality is entitled to his opinion. It's how Florio said it that has fans criticizing him on social media.

"[The Packers] just need to avoid some of the s--t that screwed them up last time early," Florio tells Simms on the Chris Simms Unbuttoned podcast. "If they can withstand the early blows from the 49ers, they can keep this close.

"If it's close into the third quarter, midway through the third quarter, the 49ers are going to start to freak out because it's not 37-8 this time around.

"And then it comes down to Jimmy Garoppolo pissing down his leg. And between the two guys, Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Garoppolo, Garoppolo far more likely to self-urinate himself than Aaron Rodgers."

There's your hot take for the day.

Florio, by the way, went on to pick the Packers to upset the 49ers by a score of 24-21 and advance to the Super Bowl.

You can watch the entire conversation below. Florio's comments begin at about the 12-minute mark. Enjoy.

H/t to Matthew Barr for the find.
