Apparently, the San Francisco 49ers were interested in potentially signing former Denver Broncos offensive lineman Connor McGovern, according to Mike Klis of 9News in Denver. McGovern won't be headed to the 49ers or the Minnesota Vikings, another team that reportedly expressed interest, and will sign a three-year deal with the New York Jets worth up to $27 million.

To clarify, Broncos had talked conceptually to McGovern's agent about a deal in $5.5M to $6M range, but never made formal offer. Once DEN signed Graham Glasgow, team told McGovern going in different direction. He then had 3 teams in - Jets, Vikings, 49ers. Picked Jets. #9sports https://t.co/Nv1TaCKBVe

McGovern is 26 years old and has experience at both guard and center. He started all 16 games with the Broncos in 2019.
The Denver Broncos made McGovern a fifth-round selection out of Missouri in 2016. He has 47 game appearances and 36 starts through his four NFL seasons.
