The San Francisco 49ers lost Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner this offseason. He was traded to the Indianapolis Colts for the No. 13 overall pick. That doesn't mean, however, that the impressive defensive front expects to see a drop-off in production during the 2020 season.

Nick Bosa has just one year of NFL experience, but it was an impressive one. He was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and expects the experience gained from last season's campaign to help the defensive line moving forward.

Bosa recently joined 49ers team reporter Keiana Martin from Fort Lauderdale, where he is training with his brother, Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, for a video interview. The defender explained why he expects San Francisco's defensive line to be even better during the upcoming season.

"Just stick with (defensive line) Coach Kris (Kocurek), and what he's been teaching us," Bosa said when asked how the defensive line can avoid a drop-off. "You can't go wrong. I feel like we left a lot on the field last year, and we knew that.

"So I think another year of just being together and getting that compatibility playing together is going to [make us] even better this year."

Click here to watch the entire interview with Bosa, which also includes what he learned from his rookie campaign, and his advice to any incoming rookies who might find themselves on the 49ers roster.
