At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6-foot-3 and 230-pound Walker had a 40-time of 4.65 seconds, a vertical jump of 33 inches, a broad jump of 122 inches, completed the three-cone drill in 79 seconds, 20 reps in the bench press, and a 20-yard shuttle time of 4.25 seconds. Other measurables for Walker include an arm length of 32 1/2 inches and hands that measure 10 inches.

NFL.com projects Walker to be a sixth-round draft pick.

Below is the NFL.com draft profile bio on Walker:

Walker began his collegiate career at Azusa Pacific, becoming an all-conference performer his second year (102 tackles, 11.5 for loss, three sacks). The Vacaville, California, native redshirted the 2017 season after transferring to FSU and took little time to step up in a Bulldogs uniform. Walker was voted first-team All-Mountain West and team Defensive MVP with 87 tackles, a team-high 14 resulting in losses, 4.5 sacks, an interception, six pass breakups, two blocked kicks, and two forced fumbles in 14 starts. He was a first-team all-conference selection in 2019, as well, recording 96 stops, a team-high nine for loss, 2.5 sacks and four pass breakups in 12 starts.

Lance Zierlein of NFL.com wrote the following about Walker within his scouting report:

Scouts say Walker is expected to test well, and it can be hard to ignore the consistency of production over the last three years, but the tape just doesn't pop. As an inside linebacker, his instincts and awareness help take him where he needs to go, but the football movements are too stiff and mechanical and will make it tough to carry the production over as a pro. He has core special-teams potential and might be able to challenge for a late roster spot because of it.
