Matt Breida's name has been thrown around as analysts speculate on which San Francisco 49ers players might be traded this offseason. The running back recently signed his one-year tender with the team, keeping him under contract through the 2020 season.

With the draft this week, anything could happen. Breida was asked Wednesday during an interview on KNBR about the possibility of the 49ers shipping him to another team.

"I heard about it a little bit," Breida said on the Murph and Mac show. "But also, I try to keep my mind off that stuff, you know? I feel like God has a plan, the Niners have a plan. I think everything is going to work out.

"I think they want a lot of the guys back, so they're going to do whatever they can to keep everyone back. I'm just going to sit here, wait, and see what happens. But I've got a good feeling we're all going to be back."

While Breida's future remains unclear, the running back isn't worrying about what could happen. He is focused on the 49ers' "unfinished business," and looking to return to the Super Bowl.

"[My agent and I] just felt it was right to come back to San Fran," Breida said. "I love the coaching staff. I love my teammates. I've been here since the start of my career, and like I said, I feel like we have unfinished business that we have to handle and settle. I just want to get another crack at the Super Bowl."

Breida didn't touch the football during the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super. Bowl LIV. He isn't discouraged by the lack of carries, though. That's because of the team mentality that Breida and his teammates have bought into under head coach Kyle Shanahan.

"To me, it's a team effort, and you can't be selfish," Breida explained. "Even before that, I wasn't getting the ball much, and it wasn't bothering me because Raheem was hot, and we've got a great group of running backs, and we're all happy for each other. And that's one thing you'll see throughout the season, last year, that each of us had our different moments, and every one of us was happy for each other.

"So, it didn't bother me at all because I just wanted to win the game, and I feel like a big reason why we got to the Super Bowl (is) because we just wanted to win."
