There is a little history between San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman and former Washington tackle Trent Williams. We briefly mentioned the exchange in this story here, but felt it was worthy of its own post.
Barstool Sports posted a video of a small post-game skirmish between Williams and Sherman, then with the Seattle Seahawks. The first among the Niners to respond was CEO Jed York.
There's no doubt that the two will put any differences they might have aside and work toward getting the 49ers back to the Super Bowl this season. It looks like there is no more animosity on Williams' part, as he responded to Sherman's tweet.
