Deebo Samuel said last week that he had spoken with his fellow San Francisco 49ers receivers and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo about organizing a get-together to run routes. It looks like that has already occurred. Although, it is unclear if Samuel, who has been training in Houston with Washington running back Adrian Peterson and 49ers teammates Trent Williams and Jerick McKinnon, was in attendance.
Wide receiver Kendrick Bourne posted a short video of the group via Instagram, mentioning that Jalen Hurd, Dante Pettis, Shawn Poindexter, and Trent Taylor joined him to run "routes on air" with Garoppolo.

Bourne said this week that he recently returned to the Bay Area after some offseason training in Portland.
NFL teams' offseason programs will continue to be conducted virtually until at least the end of the month. While some team facilities have started to reopen, coaches and players are not allowed into the buildings, unless those players are receiving treatment for injuries that occurred before shutdowns due to the coronavirus pandemic.
California governor Gavin Newsom said on Monday that sports without fans in attendance could return to the state by the first week of June.
"We're just talking about the opportunity … to begin the process of organizing around what that may or may not look like," Newsom said.
Newsom added that doing so would also require "deep stipulations" and "very prescriptive conditions" for such events.
