San Francisco signed Armstead in March to a five-year deal worth up to $85 million, keeping the former No. 17 overall pick with the team for the foreseeable future.
Armstead registered 54 combined tackles, two passes defensed, and two forced fumbles to go along with a career-high and team-leading 10 sacks in 2019. He reached opposing quarterbacks twice more during postseason play.
Armstead has recorded 152 combined tackles, 19 sacks, three passes defensed, and three forced fumbles through his five NFL seasons.
