The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 8 contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington.

The 49ers opened the practice windows for running back Tevin Coleman, tight end Jordan Reed, and cornerback K'Waun Williams, all of whom are working their ways back from injured reserve. None are listed below because they have not yet been activated. Therefore, the 49ers are not required to report their practice status.

"I think all three of those guys have a chance this week," head coach Kyle Shanahan said before practice, "but they're not going to be going today. I know Tevin will get a little bit today but not very much."

Linebacker Kwon Alexander is still dealing with a high-ankle sprain. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel suffered a hamstring strain on Sunday against the New England Patriots, and running back Jeff Wilson Jr. will head to injured reserve this week with a high-ankle sprain.

Cornerback Jason Verrett was given a veteran day off while safeties Jimmie Ward (quadricep) and Jaquiski Tartt (groin) continue to miss practice with injuries. The latter two were inactive on Sunday against the Patriots.

Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Seahawks, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
