According to NFL Draft Diamonds, the San Francisco 49ers were among the nine teams on hand at Kansas' pro day today to watch running back Pooka Williams Jr.

"Williams would be a great addition in the mid to late rounds!" noted NFL Draft Diamonds via their Twitter account.

Williams (5-10, 170) rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons with the Jayhawks, finishing his collegiate career with 415 carries for 2,382 yards with 12 rushing touchdowns. He added 66 receptions for 534 yards with four more scores through the air in his three seasons.

Williams rushed for 196 yards and two touchdowns on 51 carries through four games as a junior in 2020. He opted out of the remainder of the season to help his mother, who was battling health issues.
