According to Manish Mehta, formerly of the NY Daily News, the San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins were reportedly interested in offensive lineman Pat Elflein. Elflein reached an agreement on a three-year, $13.5 million deal with the Carolina Panthers today, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The Dolphins and 49ers were among the teams in the mix for OL Pat Elflein before he agreed to terms with the Panthers, per sources.

The 49ers could be looking to upgrade or add depth along the offensive line's interior, including the guard position. Elflein (6-3, 303) spent the end of last season with the New York Jets, starting the final six games of the season after an injury to Alex Lewis.
The Minnesota Vikings made Elflein a third-round pick out of Ohio State in 2017. He has appeared in 50 games, starting all but one, in his four NFL seasons.
