Justin Fields of Ohio State will hold his second pro day workout on Wednesday, April 14. San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch are expected to be in attendance. Both missed the former Buckeye quarterback's first pro day to attend Mac Jones' workout in Tuscaloosa.
Shanahan and Lynch will have an opportunity to see quarterback Trey Lance of North Dakota State in person too. He will hold a second pro day on Monday, April 19 — 10 days before the start of the 2021 NFL Draft.
North Dakota St. QB Trey Lance has now scheduled his second pro day for April 19, or 10 days before draft.

As already noted, Ohio St. QB Justin Fields holds his second pro day Wednesday, April 14.
There are no private workouts allowed this year so these are useful showcases.
San Francisco's decision-makers are expected to be in attendance to watch Lance. The team sent representatives to watch the North Dakota State product at his first pro day on March 12, but it was likely area scouts. Of course, that was before the 49ers traded up in the draft and made clear their intention of drafting a quarterback of the future.

The 49ers currently own the No. 3 overall pick and are expected to select one of the three quarterback prospects. The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to select Trevor Lawrence and the New York Jets are expected to draft Zach Wilson with the top two picks.
Lance (6-4, 226) appeared in just one game in 2020, throwing for 149 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception while adding 143 rushing yards and two more scores on the ground in a 39-28 victory over Central Arkansas.
The former Bison quarterback completed 66.9 percent of his passes for 2,786 yards with 28 touchdowns and no interceptions through 16 games as a sophomore in 2019.
