The San Francisco 49ers hosted former Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks for a visit, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The 49ers could be looking at free-agent options with linebackers Azeez Al-Shaair still sidelined with a knee injury and Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles in the concussion protocol.
The Eagles made Kendricks (5-11, 240) a second-round selection out of California in 2012. His last full season came in 2019 when he recorded 71 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, two quarterback hits, an interception, four passes defensed, and three sacks through 14 games with Seattle before suffering a torn ACL in Week 17.
Kendricks appeared in just one game last season with the Washington Football Team after being signed off of the Seahawks' practice squad.
Kendricks, 30, has recorded 548 tackles, 52 tackles for a loss, 19 sacks, 31 passes defensed, four interceptions, and seven forced fumbles through his nine NFL seasons.
