The good news is that Deebo Samuel is expected to play. The wide receiver left practice on Friday with what head coach Kyle Shanahan described as a "tight glute." As of Friday night, Shanahan and the 49ers were awaiting the results of an MRI to determine the severity of Samuel's injury.
#49ers WR Deebo Samuel (glute) is expected to play vs. Chargers today after leaving practice early Friday.
